Immersion

Action for perception
Sometimes you have to get wet, figuratively speaking. Or even literally. Jump into the water to see and feel for yourself.  Cast out into the wilderness to experience it in it's most direct form.  The brain evolved for movement, to let the organism explore the environment to find sustenance. Our perceptual capabilities are dependent on our capacity to act upon the world.  So on that basis, the more you explore, develop skills and use the tools to hand, the richer will be the picture painted upon your eyes...

Here is a selection of  scenes with an 'active' perspective.
Actively immersing in different environments, and the tools that make this possible.

VISTAS

I have been very priveleged to travel this incredible world and experience its natural diversity.  Here is a selection of some of my favourite vistas.
Mountainous landscapes near and far - from the Andes to the Alps, the Scottish Highlands to the English Lake District
